Shanghai, China—The US National Highway Safety Transportation Agency (NHTSA) announced a new rule in March this that will require vehicles built from May 1, 2018 onward to have a back-up or reversing cameras. The law applies to all road-legal vehicles weighing under 10,000 pounds.
